“Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” (1)

Boy Brow / / Stella: I’ve always struggled with unruly brows. When I was a kid, I had thick caterpillar eyebrows that people made fun of me about. Then, as we all do, I discovered tweezers. Luckily, I never plucked the shit out of them to the point of no return. But it wasn’t until recently I understood how well maintained eyebrows can frame your face. I had read so many raving reviews about Glossier Boy Brow and finally purchased it. I have never used a brow gel but this stuff is foolproof. It gives you the ability to tame those brows for a sleek, put together look. Or, you can use it and follow the growth of the hairs to perfect that Boy Brow.

Autocamp / / Kendall: As I currently look out my window Northern California is in the process of receiving another 4 feet of snow. I am not ready for ski season to come to an end, but I have begun lusting for summer adventures. We just booked a spot at this autocamp for my birthday weekend with a group of friends and I am beyond excited. I peruse their galleries daily. Wine and redwoods and airstreams Oh My!

Lip and Cheek Stain / / Allie: Growing up, my Mom was equally obsessed with vibrant lipstick as she was with drinking coffee. My earliest memories include scattered coffee mugs – on the counter, in the bathroom, on night stands – each with a unique pop of bright pink on the rim. Today, I find the memory endearing. When I was younger, it made me hate lipstick and the residue it left on everything it touched. I’ve struggled to find a lip product that gave me both a natural look and didn’t leave its mark. Thanks to Emma Watson’s beauty feature in Into The Gloss, I found Lip and Cheek Stain from The Body Shop. It gives me a rosy tint that seriously lasts all day AND keeps my coffee cups free of lip marks.

Happy 30th to Our Stella Bella

It’s because of our Stella Bella’s passion for travel and friendship that the three of us have been able to share adventures, laughs, meals and memories together over the last two years. She’s constantly inspiring us to be the best versions of ourselves and is always the first to start planning our next adventure together.

Today, on her 30th birthday, we cheers to everything Stella. From her intelligence to her sassy side, her love of food to her Harry Potter obsession, we wouldn’t be who we are without her gift of friendship.

Happy Birthday, dear friend. You are the spine that holds our book of friendship together.

Olympia Coffee Roasting Co // Stella:
I mean, it’s not a surprise my favorite thing this Friday is coffee. I have been slowly transitioning from one cup a day to two cups. Luckily, my coffee maker (aka husband) makes the all important first cup. But for my second cup, I have been turning to Oly Coffee. They focus on small batches of quality coffee beans. The shop is pristine with a lovely aesthetic. The best part about the shop is that they really are interested in educating folks about coffee and their process. They have cuppings on Fridays that are open to the public. Bottom line, the coffee is amazing.

Investing // Kendall: I’ve been maxing out my retirement contributions for 3 years now. Under my current employer our benefit plan provides 100% investment responsibility to the employees. There is no portfolio of investments for us to choose from, the world of bonds, equities and whatever else comes to mind is ours to experiment with. A plus to some… completely overwhelming to me. About a third of my retirement savings have been sitting in un-invested cash for many months now. FAIL. This past week I finally kicked it into gear and starting using the many resources that Charles Schwab has available to its account holders. I’m not yet ready to seek out an adivisor. I CAN DO THIS! Time to tune in and realize some ROI.

Truce Juice // Allie: I’ve recently started a love affair with Truce Juice. It’s kitty corner to my apartment so it’s almost impossible to ignore the beautiful branding, the fresh pressed juice and the delicious acai bowls every morning on my way to work. After turning 30 and hearing numerous reports on how sitting all day at work is literally cutting years off my life, I’ve decided to devote some serious time and effort into my daily health routine. Just after two weeks of replacing my lunch with the Morning Greens juice, I already have more energy, I feel sharper at work and I’ve even been sleeping better!

It’s in the 90’s today in Minneapolis, so it seems like an appropriate time to put together my Summer Soundtrack for 2016. I write this post sitting in a sunny spot outside one of my favorite coffee spots, Iced Americano in hand and my hair a humidity-induced ball of frizz. I couldn’t be in a better mood.

In most cities across the country, when the dew point surpasses 70, you’ll find everyone congregating indoors, huddled around air conditioner units. Not in Minneapolis. Up north, we take advantage of every single warm day we’re blessed with. Here are the tracks I’m using to ride this feeling and this weather. You can listen along on Spotify if you want to put a little pep in your summer step.

Cotopaxi // Stella: I love being able to purchase amazing, quality products that have a positive social impact. I think the older I get, I have really begun to consider the impact my daily life has on the world around me. When considering a daypack to purchase, there was no question, it was going to be Cotopaxi Luzon. Now only did it look great and fulfill the qualities I was looking for, but Cotopaxi is also trying to alleviate global poverty sustainably.

Rug Worthy // Kendall: I am continuing my trend of being too focused on updating our home and WHOA rugs are expensive! Memorial Day sales led me to the Rugs USA site and after many hours of searching through an unlimited supply of rugs, I am anxiously awaiting for my final of three purchases to arrive. Said three were obtained for less than $350 and appear to be of relatively high quality. I am feeling satisfied on this Friday.

Lilacs // Allie: There are three specific items that help me cure the Mean Reds when they come knocking at my door – exercise, coffee and flowers. I spend a disproportionate amount of my disposable income on flowers for my coffee table, but when they look and smell as delicious as these Lilacs did last weekend, I find it’s worth every penny.
